Hanging out with T-bird in the last few weeks.

Last week was one of those weeks where I felt like all I did was say "NO"  so we decided to make cookies.  This was Tanner's first time REALLY making them.  She poured in every ingredient and stirred with the help of the kitchen aid.  And then helped me scoop them into balls.  AND finally she got into licking the spoon.  Eating the dough was her favorite part.

Learning to cook macaroni and cheese with mommy.  Yes it is Tanner's new favorite meal and she is soooo good at stirring.

Trying out our old car seat.  YEP  too big only for little Jett now.

Pictures of the New House

Well I never could get my video uploaded to this blog. I don't know why but I have had more problems with this new blog getting things uploaded and getting new backgrounds on it. Sorry if it takes forever for it to download for you on your computer. If anyone knows why this is happening let me know.

But here are some pictures of our house. This is Tanner's room. We went with a yellow and pink theme.
Living room
Amazing kitchen that I really love. The desk looks out onto the playground so I could watch Tanner if I need to. It is really nice to have everything new, but the curse is that you want it to stay looking new and it is easy to see how quickly things get dirty.
Dining room with our cabinets that we decided to paint black. The only problem is that the paint never cured. So it still feels tacky. I think we are going to have to clear coat it.
Another picture our our living room. Yes with the big tractor out the window that runs all day long. It has become a source of frustration but we know it is just temporary and are hoping they get all the work done before we bring home Jett.

Tanner's Favorite past time

Jay got this bike right before summer started and has been working on restoring it a little. Tanner has quickly fallen in love with riding on the motorcycle with daddy. We finally got her a helmet so she would be a little safer but Jay goes very slow, I even walk next to them. Whenever Tanner sees daddy on the bike she says "I go motorcycle too".
Showing off her new helmet.

Well on the home front, I saw the doctor yesterday and too our surprise I have started diliating and I am only 35 weeks. Doctor doesn't seem to think I will make it to the beginning of september and I think I am much more aware of some contractions now. I am trying to lay low so that I can at least get to 37 weeks. Jett's life has always been one to keep us on our toes.

Almost 35 weeks and feeling tired

Well Jett is still cooking after a little scare last week. Here is a picture of his crib that I did get set up. The bedding is really simple but we like it. It is hard to tell but it is kinda a cranberry red and a deep slate blue, and tan. I started cleaning out his room of all the boxes so that we can actually walk in there. I meet with the doctor tomorrow to talk about dates for our c-section. The planner in me is very excited to have a goal but I know that this little guy keeps me on my toes so he will come when God says. For now I can't seem to get enough sleep in me, whether that is because of him or chasing Tanner who knows.
Here is a picture of our house from the outside. I am having trouble downloading a video tour of our house but will try and post it this weekend from my parents house. Behind the red car picture a big party deck that will wrap a little around the front.
On this side of the house we will have grass and we are planning on taking the deck about 8 feet off the front of the house and will have stairs leading down to the grass and then a walkway on the other side to the party deck. As far now we live in a dirt, dust pit and DO NOT open the window because otherwise we would have the dirt inside.
