Halloween Fun

Carving our pumpkins.  Tanner was in charge of scooping out the seeds that were left after daddy got the "strings"out.
Tanner had a blast.  We got some carving kit from Williams Sonoma last year on clearance and it was GREAT!!!

Here's the finished product.

Our little ballerina.  Tanner looked soooo grown up this year.  I feel like one of those parents that says, "she is growing up too fast".
This is Tanner saying "cheese".  SHe says it but doesn't smile and hardly looks at the camera when she is saying it.  SHe hasn't gotten the concept that cheese means smile.  If you are noticing the necklace, it is  mine and Tanner loves to wear mommy's jewerly.
 My little girl!

At our Halloween party.  Tanner had so much fun and really got the concept of "trick or Treat" and costumes.  Even two day's later she will pull out a dress and say "costume?"

Trying to get a sibling shot.  Jett did what he does best SLEEP!!

We had bought a penguin costume for Jett but since our dear friends sent us this outfit we thought we would put it to good use.

Our little ballerina can't wait to be a real ballerina some day.  Guess we have one more year til we can have her join the Hume class.  At least we have a preview of how cute she will be.

Finally a picture of two

I was down at my parents house and thought what better time to try and get a picture of Tanner holding Jett.  Both were willing participants which will probably be a rare thing.  We couldn't go out and do much because mommy always had to feed Jett so Tanner and mommy had to be creative on things to do.    Today we played photoshoot.

The hardest part is getting Tanner to look at me and not Jett.

Tanner loved holding Jett and amazingly Jett didn't cry at all in his sisters arms.

BOTH Simi-looking yeah.  This ones for the scrapbooking.

Tanner came out with these two boxes on her arms and all these necklaces and it was just tooooo cute.  But when I tried to get her to smile at me she threw me attitude and say "No cheese mommy".  At least I captures her body and how cute she looked.

I guess the photo shoot is over.  Oh well it was fun while it lasted.  Tanner is blooming with personality and attitude too.  She will mimic me and my sayings and when she gets made at me she uses my own sayings back at me.  Guess I will really have to watch what I am saying now.

A little update

Well Jay and I were trying to be artsy with some pictures of Jett when he was two weeks old and this what we came up with.  Time is flying by as our little guy is almost 6 weeks old but I haven't taken any recent pictures.  How does one juggle a two year old, baby and nursing and having time to capture moments.  My friend Colleen is amazing at it.  I am trying to be better hopefully on Friday when our little guy is 6 weeks I will take some pictures.
Jett on Daddys little motor cycle.  He did pee all over it as he was not happy being on it.

A little warmer photo shoot.

Passed out at night.

We had to capture this.  Tanner is reading a book to her baby in the swing.  She is a great big sister.
