Photographer in training

SO anytime Tanner sees a camera she instantly wants to take pictures.  Most of this has been brought on  by her Grammie who is always so generous and never worried about her grandkids braking things.  With the help her patient Grammie showing her how to use the camera, anytime Tanner sees a camera she opens it up and starts taking pictures.  On this particular day we were at our favorite bread place in San Diego getting the infamous "chocolate bread" when Tanner started taking pictures.  Here is daddy eatting his bread.  She even captured the sign in the background.
Tanner loves to take photos of flowers too.
Auntie April and Uncle Cliff have no idea who is pointing and shooting pictures.  Guess we need to teach how to round people up and tell them to look and say "cheese".
Here is Jett learning to pull up.  He wasn't crawling yet here but was so close to pulling up.
We didn't get a ton of pictures at our time in SeaWorld this year but one night Tanner, Mommy, and Daddy all went to SeaWorld for some "Tanner Time" and one of the things she wanted to do was ride the rides.  Daddy went on Elmo which is equivalent to Dumbo at Disneyland.  The she really wanted to go on Abby's ride which is like Teacups.  Last year she was a little nervous of this one but this year she wanted to go faster, and faster like all the other people.  She wanted to spin her brains out, and this is NOT mommy or daddy's favorite thing to do.  Maybe in the future she will have to find friends or fly solo on this ride.
Here we are going round and round.

Beach Time in SD

Well our first beach time for Jett and he followed in his sisters footsteps.  SAND IN THE MOUTH!! In most of our pictures he had his hands in his mouth.  I was grossed out of course and sad that I didn't have a pacifier to put in to prevent it, so we had to occupy his hands with shovels and toys.   He had a blast and loved the beach just like his parents and sister.
YEAH for both kids looking and smiling.    The M.O. at the beach is Daddy builds the castles and the kids knock them down.  They love every minute of it.  Our goal for this summer was to get Tanner in the water.
Tanner enjoying the day and mommy finally got her to look up at the camera.
Our little sharky enjoying his time and he always has a smile for the camera.
Digging in the dirt.  He loved the feel of the sand and we just let him go to town.
Jett is notorious for rubbing his feet together.  That is how he gets his socks off and his shoes.  I loved that I was capturing him rubbing his feet in the sand.
Mommy and daddy capturing a smile as we try to relax after a long month.  First day off Jay got we hit the beach.

Daddy and his kids.  It is a lot more work to try and get two kids to smile for a picture.
Happy boy just enjoyed a full strawberry all by himself.  Let me just say that red strawberry and sand are not a great combo for clean up but minutes of entertainment for a 10 month old.

All our Hume SD kids having fun on the last weekend of camp.  It was a perfect day and if you notice Tanner's hair, she went in the water.  She loved it until she tripped and a wave washed over her.  Good thing our friend was there to lift her up and out.
