Ballet Recital

 Heading out for her recital
 Showing us a few moves

Love the picture with her brother just chilling in the background.

 Her little bun.
Tanner's class Avery Bohrer, Addison Stevens and Tanner Johnson
Teachers Leah Wagner and Kayla Plouffe.

Waiting for the recital to start.
 Performing her routine.

This is our little ballerina debuting in her first recital.  She was so excited and talked about it all day.  We are so proud of her and think she has a great career ahead of her.  Jett was an attentive brother too, it helped that Tanner went first so he didn't have to wait very long to see her.  Hope you all enjoy.

Preschool Graduation

Here we are on our last day of preschool.  Mommy, Tanner and McKenna.
Jett was so excited to get to come inside and play today and sit in chairs that were his size.  Usually we come and drop Tanner off and he wants to stay too and play.  He was very excited and sat like a good boy in his chair, being mostly quiet during the graduation.
The kids sitting in their spots practicing their rules for the parents.  They did a little mini day so the parents could see what they do.  Jen was the helper half of the year so she had an idea of what the kids did.

Here are our kids doing the pledge of allegiance .  Tanner now says it every time we see a flag.  The amazing part is that she accurately pronounces every word.
Practicing one of their songs "rise and shine".

Here are the 4/5 year olds graduating to kindergarten.  Tristan, Chloe, Kale and Caleb.
These are the 3/4 year olds that will be graduating to the big kids next year.
Hudson Geer, Isaac Gerber, Jaron Ferreira, Avery Bohrer, Tanner Johnson
Here is our little graduate.  She was so proud.
Mrs.  Gerber and Tanner.  Next year Mrs.  Gerber will be the teacher again and Tanner can't wait for it to start.

LET THE CAMP OUT BEGIN

Let the camping party begin.  This was kinda a last minute idea (3 weeks before birthday) but it came together perfectly and we had our biggest turn out of guests too.  We did camping for Tanner because since she was 3 1/2 she has asked for a sleeping bag when she turns 4.  I think she saw a TV show about camping and sleeping bags and since then she has be fixated on it.  The day was perfectly sunny and not to cold so it turned out great.
You will always find Papa with the kids.
Jay grilling up some hamburger and hotdogs.  We went through 23 hamburgers and 17 hotdogs.  Daddy was very busy!
Jen did all the food and Jay handled all the decorating.  He brought out tackle boxes, fishing poles and camping stoves.  Also the tents were Jay's touch too.  What would I do without him.  The basket of flashlights were the take home gifts for the kids.
Food table with all the fixings, fruit salad and chips and dip.
Jay even got the Lull out (big construction machine) and brought out 2 picnic tables for the kids to sit on.  He thinks of everything!!
 The tents!!
The boys!!  These boys really miss all hanging out and had a blast running around.
The girls.  It just happened that Tanner's really good friend Aubrie was up for the weekend and got to come which was awesome for Tanner.   The two were so sweet together and at the end of the party were found in the house playing together with Tanner's new toys away from everyone else.  I think they just missed each other and play well together.
Jett waiting not so patiently for his food.
The first present opened was from Jett.  A beauty chair for her dolls to sit in.  She loved it.  Jett later tried to sit on it thinking it was for him.  What are brothers for!!

So interested in the books from Aunt Susie.  I love the picture with Peter in the background excited too for the books.
This picture captures her expressions perfectly.  She was so expressive for all the stuff and "SO THANKFUL" for and "LOVED IT, ITS MY FAVORITE".  Or the "This is what I've always wanted".  I love that little girl.
The big ticket item of the day was her first American girl doll from Grammie and Grandpa and she really has brought it everywhere with her.  It's been up and down the hill 3 times, to preschool, swim lessons,  bed, etc.   We do put the limit that it can't go to the park only because mommy wants to keep it nice.    Her name is McKenna and Tanner is anxiously waiting to get more clothes for her.
All the kids watching the gift opening.

This is a sleeping bag from Nana and Papa.  It's a good thing someone came through for her on it.
Dessert was Smores of course!  No camp out is complete with out them.  The kids really got into it and so did the adults.  It was fun to have them in the day because usually we only get them at night.
Loving the smores.
Look at those faces and tongues.  LOVE IT!!
Here's our big 4 year old.  We always forget to get a family picture with the birthday kid so I was bound to get it today.
We love you Tanner girl and you bless mommy and daddy more and more each day.  You make life so exciting and bright and our life would be so quiet without you!!
