This year we finally remembered to take a family photo. Yeah for all of us smiling too. We started the Christmas festivities with opening burns gifts on Friday evening. Tanner was so excited. Jett he was just along for the ride.

Tanner's face says it all. She is so expressive these days and loves everything and everything is "my favorite or just what I wanted".

If you know Tanner she loves her purses. Anything that she can put stuff in is right up her ally. This of course was filled with little tiny treasures from another present opened.
Jett knows exactly what to do with cars and if their was a big box it was the perfect place to roll it or to climb on. He never did really open the gifts.
This year Tanner's gifts proved to be more colorful for Jett so he was more into sissy's gifts then his own. Plus Tanner's made noise if button's were pushed. Guess I will have to think of that for next year.
Now the Johnson family Christmas which was held on Saturday. As always they do a wonderful christmas production and Micah and Tanner got to play parts that they played when they were one. They did much better and took great care of baby Jesus both equally sharing the parenting responsibilities. Jett made is debut as a shepard and Lucy was a sheep. It was too cute and the kids performed beautifully.

This was mommies favorite gift because what girl doesn't need pink boots right?
We drove home Christmas Eve night so we could have Christmas at our home and so that Santa knew where to drop off the gifts. It is a good thing Santa delivered on the doll house. Tanner loved it. And grammie and grandpa must have a connection with Santa because they knew to get people and a car for the house. Don't you love Tanner's outfit. She had an accident and readily changed her clothes before she came out.
Jett enjoying another one of Tanner's gifts. I think no matter what we got Jett, Tanner's stuff is always going to be cooler and more exciting because it is bigger and it is his sister right? We had a great Christmas and really loved seeing it through our children's eyes.
