Life so Far in SD

When we drive down to San Diego we always break up the trip by stopping at the Irvine Spectrum.  This year Tanner and Jett got to ride the merry-go-round.  Tanner loved it, Jett was not to sure about it.
Jett hanging out on campus.   It has taken Jett awhile to warm up to being down here.  He doesn't go far from Jen and if anyone tries to play or talk to him he quickly runs and grabs mommy's leg.  By week 3 he has started to relax and play.  Whew mommy is learning patience with him.
This was a rare moment on the first week when daddy was home when the kids woke up.  It was a welcomed reunion.
First day at the beach and the kids were so excited to dig in the sand.
Tanner decided to make a sand angel.
Tanner and daddy napping.  Both usually take naps every afternoon as they have long days and play hard.
Daddy and Jett racing a golf cart.
Our favorite is Cup of Yo, frozen yogart.  The kids love it.  On this day we walked there from campus.
Jett loves it too and prefers his own bowl most of the time.
Fun statue on campus that Tanner loves to play with.  Today she asked me to take her picture.
"Look mom, I am holding Peter's hand"
Yes we bought seaWorld tickets again and Tanner loved it.  Jett quickly learned what all the excitement was about too.
 Another beach day!

Watching all the people play in the water.  Tanner is started to warm up to the idea of putting her feet in.
 Here she goes with Daddy.
Now we can't get her out of it.  She loves to run and run in the water.

Last Saturday we got to go to our favorite beach- Coronado.  The water is perfect and waves small, and the sand is soooo nice.
 Sand castle art!!

If tanner is concentrating her tongue is usually out.  So funny.
The beautiful hotel in the background.
 Little man and his bucket.
Daddy always wants a picture with the kids and the castle.  This one is the funniest yet.  Jett did not want to sit for a picture and Tanner just wanted to play in the water.  Oh Daddy maybe someday you will get your perfect picture.  Sorry it is a lot of pictures but the internet was finally fast enough to get up all online so I had to hurry to post it all.

Tanner's first Opener

Finally a fast enough internet connection so that I can update our blog to our fun activities here in SD.  Well the most noteworthy thing that I know family is dying to see if our little actress.  We have always said Tanner could be drama now we get to see it put to use.  The first week of camp we asked Tanner if  she wanted to be in the opener with daddy and she quickly shook her head no.  The second week she got to watch her friend Amalya dance on stage and say a line and when the show was over she asked "I want to go on stage with daddy now!"  I told her she had to be in the opener to do that so she said" Can I do it next week with daddy?"  I of course said yes.

We had our friend Bunnie send us a dress up dress from home that Tusi Jenny sent from Romania.  We added some leggings and a sash and viola our little Israelite and Moses.
She was so excited for the performance.  I was told that after her first rehersal she put her hand up and said "yes I did it".

Daddy getting a kiss from Jett.

Asher and Amayla Nuncio and Tanner

Look she was posing for a picture.
Holly was so gracious to be the handler of these three kids in the opener.  She did great and they just love her.

Dancing, dancing, dancing.

They are playing ring around the roses. Below is some video.  Enjoy
