Why a new blog you ask?

The Johnson family is growing. Come this September (the 14th to be exact), we will have a new addition to our family. Since our last blog was called baby Tanner Noelle, we thought it only right to start a family blog instead of just a Tanner blog. We want the new baby to feel welcome and included and that it is not all about Tanner.

So the details, Jen is 9 weeks along and has been feeling great!! No sickness yet. Her biggest fear was twins and at our appointment yesterday the doctor verified that it was just ONE baby. YEAH!! She is not to excited about sharing her birthday with a baby, but there is a good chance her birthday present will be that she is no longer pregnant on her birthday (the 13th). The baby is healthy and strong so far.

We know Tanner is going to be a great big sister as she is already learning to throw her own diapers in the trash, feed her baby's the bottle, and learning to go and get her own clothes and shoes. She is also very good and choosing what she wants to wear too. Whenever she sees a baby, she says "baby" and runs over to say HI. She has no idea what is coming her way but we are so excited for her to experience her own baby brother or sister. Do we have a preference on the gender? Well we would both love a boy but the thought of Tanner having a sister is thrilling too since there is a special bond for sisters. Jen is very close to her sister and would love for Tanner to experience that someday. So the answer is No.
