On the anniversary of Elyse going to be with Jesus, a group of close friends of the Carey's went away to the beach to spend this time remembering her and missing her. The trip started out raining but on the second day the sun came out and it reminded me of the day of her funeral where it was suppose to rain but God knew we needed the sun and so the sun shone bright. On this outing we went to see the Elephant Seals.
Tanner and Peter looking at the seals. Many times as I watched these two play, I couldn't help but think that this is what it would have looked like if it was Peter and Elyse.
Peter all smiles. He is such a cutie and such a blessing to be around.
This is me trying to explain to the kiddos why the seals are throwing sand on themselves.
It was a hard week but a good week too filled with tears and laughter. Pictures and videos are priceless now and we try to capture it all.
