A little bit of Summer fun

Week 10 happened here at Hume and I (Jen) realized that I really haven't taken any pictures of the kids since being back from San Diego.   So I quickly grabbed the camera and started to try and capture a few last moments of summer.  We had some dear friends Bryan and Bekah Pogue come up with their two boys (Tanner and Ty) and Jay took Ty and Jett on a walk so Bekah and I could catch up.  The younger boys are only 6 weeks apart and the old two (Tanner and Tanner) are only 3 months.  I love doing life with friends with kids of similar ages it is so fun!!
Mommy worked for a week at Hume and what did she do with all her money?  Bought Tanner and new trundle bed.  Yes the many, many sacrifices we as parents will do for our kids but I must say it was so fun to watch Jett "help" daddy put it together.  He is really getting into this building thing.
Everyday during nap time when the younger siblings sleep Hudson and Tanner can be found playing outside.  Today was  tractor day and I thought I should get a cute picture of them.
We often wonder if they will still love playing together in the awkward teen years or if this will be a distant memory.  At least we can say that they use to love to play together.
After tractors, Tanner decided she needed to practice her ballet and have a photo shoot.  She was really into it and I decided to indulge her because she usually never wants her picture taken.  It is hard to believe she is almost 4 1/2.  She really is a bright, cheerful and outgoing girl who plays with anyone at any age.

Watermelon goodness.  Of course we have to go on the front deck for this juicy goodness.  And they were so cute we had to capture it.
I can't believe how fast Jett is growing too and he is starting to like to take pictures, as long as Tanner is into it too.  He wants to do everything she does and my prayer is that they will always be good friends.
Little boy is definitely growing into himself and is pure cuteness and terror all at the same time.
Posing for the camera.  Where does she come up with this stuff?

Check out that face.  This is why we were outside.  Ah summer fun.  I can't believe it is almost over and this is really the last full summer I will have with her as next year she will be in kindergarten.  Always thought  I couldn't wait for the day and now that I am seeing it just around the corner I don't know if I want it to come.  My life is so carefree and going where ever the day takes me that it will be weird to have a schedule and homework.  Oh well guess we will live it up this year!!
